Sudanese investments in Ethiopia worth 2.4 billion dollars

Khartoum-The chairman of the Sudanese businessmen in Ethiopia Colonel Awad al-Kareem Saeed has revealed the volume of the capital of Sudanese investment in Ethiopia is estimated to be 2.4 billion dollars, saying that Sudan is ranked number 2 in the list of the most investing countries in Ethiopia

He stated that the number of the Sudanese investors in Ethiopia is 800 with only 200 active investors.

Member of the society Khalid Karam said that certain circumstances have made them to invest outside the homeland including the difficulties that face investments in Sudan such as bureaucracy.

He revealed plans to hold a consultation conference as part of the International Fair of Khartoum activities in January besides the endeavors to apply the four freedom system between the citizens of both countries and establish a free industrial zone in Al-Galabat area in Gedarif state.
