Khartoum-The UN has affirmed full coordination with Sudan and representatives of the countries of the South in Khartoum in demonstrating investment opportunities and coordinating stances toward global development affairs, announcing readiness to push the concept of cooperation on better implementation further.
The resident representative of the UN Development Program in Khartoum Ali Al-Zatari said in a statement to Alshoroq that Sudan has made wide steps toward the cooperation with the South states after the establishment of a national coordination unit in the ministry of finance for this purpose.
Speaking to a workshop on generalization of the concept of the South-South and the tripartite cooperation in Khartoum, he said that the participation of the UN in this workshop gives the participants a bigger ability to understand the South-South cooperation and to push the concept on better implementation further.
He pointed to the importance of the South-South cooperation, saying that the South countries could make an active development movement if it the cooperation is based on stable rule.
