Finance minister discloses endeavors to establish Sudanese-Chinese bank

Khartoum-The minister of finance Badr-Eddin Mahmoud has revealed endeavors to establish a Sudanese-Chinese bank in Sudan to support bank transactions between the two countries.

Upon a meeting at the council of ministers' premises yesterday on the implementation of the signed Sudanese-Chinese agreements, chaired by vice president Hasbo Mohamed Abdelrahman, he said the meeting discussed the possibility of increasing oil production in the new fields besides signing a final agreement with regard to the oil transition fees for the Chinese companies.

He said that the meeting touched on the obstacles that face some projects especially the implementation of Al-Fola electricity station and the ongoing endeavors to solve them.

He said that the meeting discussed, further, the agreement with the Chinese side in the cooperation in areas of banking.
