NCP says general conference to take place in October

Khartoum-The National Congress Party has announced that next October will witness convocation of its general conference that targets the leadership office, the Shura Council and the chairman of the party who will be elected for the Presidential election.
Head of the Reform committee in the National Congress Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Tahir has announced holding around 24 thousand grassroots conferences in different parties if the world, to be attended by millions of the party’s members. He added that the comprehensive reform documents will be discussed thoroughly at these conferences.
Speaking to journalists yesterday, Al-Tahir said aims disseminate spirit of reform within the grassroots of the party in Sudan, citing that they demanded change in leaders. He added that honesty, knowledge and experiences are the requirements of the taking over leadership in the party in this stage”.
