Khartoum-The Revolutionary Front has described the legal procedures by the security service in Sudan against chairman of the Umma Party Al-Sadeq Al-Mahdi as desperate attempt to cover up the crimes of Janjaweed militias in Darfur.
Al-Mahid was sued over a statement considered as critical to the Rapid Support Forces.
The statement has meanwhile said that the Rapid Support Forces are the Janjaweed militias that have been recruited based on tribal and ethical identity and outside the armed forces framework..
In a press statement, the Revolutionary Front has strongly denounced the investigation with regard to Al-Mahdi statement
The statement has urged the activists in Sudan and abroad to stand against the violations made by the Janjaweed forces and to support Al-Mahdi against the measures being taken against him.
