Egyptian ambassador to Sudan blames media for Halayeb crisis

Khartoum-The newly-appointed Egyptian ambassador to Sudan Osama Shaltot has said that the ties between the Nile valley people in Egypt and Sudan are characterized by the common and strategic bonds that influence the national security of the two sisterly countries.
Upon his arrival in Khartoum on Wednesday, the ambassador said in a statement to the Middle East news agency that Egypt is keen to support bilateral relations in all regional and international levels.
He said that the coming period will witness focusing on a number of the files including the economy to effectively strengthen the common ties.
With regard to Halayeb crisis, the ambassador said that some journalists touch on this topic without objectivity.
