Justice Minister: 48 cases on public fund breaches in 2013

Khartoum-The Ministry of Justice has revealed opening 34 criminal cases with regard to the public fund breaches. The ministry said that around 17 of these cases were transferred to the courts with judgments made in 9 cases, while 8 are still in courts.

In the statement of the justice ministry before the parliament on Monday, the justice minister Mohamed Bushara Dosa announced that 14 cases on public fund violations under investigations, with the money recovered in six cases.

He said that the defendants in other 4 cases have fled, saying that the general prosecutor started taking the measures of recovery through the Interpol in 3 cases. He stated that the recovered money through the attorney and courts reached 10.3 million pounds.
