Former Sudanese ambassador to US expects bright future of Sudanese-Chinese relations

Khartoum-The head of the National Congress parliamentary bloc and former ambassador of Sudan to Washington Mahdi Ibrahim has affirmed deeply-rooted Sudanese-Chinese relations.

In a statement to the People Network during a recent visit to China, Mahdi Ibrahim has said that the Sudanese-Chinese relations have started in 1959, and have been characterized by the mutual respect, rapid growth and fruitful cooperation that serve the interests of the two countries. He added that these ties are based on values of non-intervention in the domestic affairs of others.



He lauded the supportive stances of China to Sudan at the regional and international arenas.
