Court charges defendant in connection with killing Dr. Sara of murder

Khartoum-A Sudanese court, on Wednesday, accused the defendant in connection with the killing of Dr. Sara Abdel-Baghi during lasts September demonstration, of murder under tile 130 of the Sudanese criminal code.

The criminal court of Al-Doroshab North interrogated the defendant, who is accused of opening fire at Sara. But he denied presence at the event scene at that time. He told the court that he went to Al-Doroshab police station, where he showed his police ID and asked the person in charge to arm him with the police officers who were present at the station at that time.

The court set next Wednesday as hearing session for the defense witnesses. Advocate Mutasim Al-Haj, the member in the plaintiff authority, has said that the testimonies of the defendant are different than what has been mentioned in the investigations diaries
