Khartoum-A delegation from the Sudan liberation movement – Minawi faction met, on Wednesday, in London with the official in charge of Sudan file at the UK Foreign Office in the presence of the Political Secretary of the UK embassy in Khartoum.
The delegation has briefed the British officials on the new wave of ethnic cleansing and genocide being carried out by the regime in Khartoum through its new militias known as rapid support forces.
The delegation stressed the importance of foreign intervention to stop these atrocities under the failure of the Doha peace agreement, the silence of the international community toward the regime’s crimes and the failure of the UNAMID in protecting the civilians.
The delegation included Mohamed Bashir, whose is in charge of the movement’s bureaus in Europe, head of the movement office in the United Kingdom and Ireland Nour-Edayem Mohamed Ahmed, and Hamid Senain the secretary of the humanitarian affairs in the movement office in Britain.
