Sudanese Defending Authority criticizes confiscation of newspapers

Khartoum-The Sudanese Authority for Defending Rights and Freedoms has criticized confiscation of the newspapers of Al-Ahram Al-youm, Al-hura, Al-Sudani on Monday without giving reasons.
Head of the Authority Dr. Farouq Mohamed Ibrahim has said that despite the wide statements on the speech of President Al-Bashir on the dialogue with the entire political forces and civil society organization, the requirements of this dialogue do not exist.
He pointed out that the Security Service has been violating the rights of expression of the Sudanese press.
He went on to say that the Sudanese press faces systematic targeting, referring to the arrest of journalist Ashraf Khoujali upon the last September demonstration and the continuity of the detention of journalists and blogger Taj-Eddin Arja.
