Darfur refugees’ activists committee criticizes UNHCR

Khartoum-The Darfur refugees’ activists committee in Cairo held a meeting on Sunday after three weeks of evasiveness by the United Nations Higher Commission of Refugees.
In a statement, they c committee said they agreed on this appointment to meet the regional representative Mohamed Al-Dairy as mentioned in their message via email but the surprise was to meet with the protection official Daneil and security official Mazen. Despite this, we agreed to meet with them in order to solve our problems but they were not up to the responsibility.
This reflects that they do not respect our minds. The UNHCR representatives refused our entire proposals. The statement said that the representatives of the UNCR are influenced and controlled by an Egyptian employee to the commission.
The statement rejects what it described as the violations of the rights of the Darfuri refugees in Cairo by the UHCR.
