Court to direct charges against SPLM-north detainees next week

Khartoum-The criminal court of Sinja town in Sinnar state has resumed the prosecution sessions on SPLM-north members who were arrested following the outbreak of the events in September 2012. Member of the Sudanese authority for defending rights and freedoms, Al-Tigani Hassan, has said that the court, which is chaired by Judge Abdel-Monem Younis, has completed during Wednesday and Thursday’ s sessions investigating the 78 defendants.
He said that the court announced that the coming sessions next Wednesday and Thursday will be for directing charges, and for offering the list of the defense witnesses l by the defense authority.
