Sudan stresses its intention to promote Chinese investments in the country
Khartoum-Sudan's Minister of Investment at the Supreme Investment Council, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, stressed that his government's intention to promote Chinese investment and overcome difficulties to Chinese companies
Ismail, who is currently visiting China, expressed on Wednesday Sudan's willingness to encourage Chinese companies to import Sudanese products by participating in the First Chinese-Arab Fair scheduled to be held from 15 to 19 September.
"Sudan has products that can be exported to China, such as sesame, gum Arabic, peanuts and cotton" he said
He added that the exhibition also provides an opportunity for Sudanese side to consider the Chinese products and looking for the Sudanese market needs of Chinese products.
"After visiting of South Sudan's President to Khartoum recently and resuming of oil flow, we will direct the funds that come to assist Chinese companies to transfer their profits in the foreign currency, we also facilitate Chinese investment in new areas." Ismail
He pointed out that Khartoum's government has taken a number of administrative and legal procedures in several areas that will benefit foreign investors, especially Chinese investors.
"All of these actions will benefit the Chinese investor, especially in the agricultural field."
