مشايخ قبيلة تويج وبدعم من مثقفي القبيلة قدموا عريضة في يناير الماضي الى رئيس حكومة
الجنوب سلفاكير ذكروا فيها ان حدودهم مع نقوك تنتهي عند بحر العرب(كير)
و طالبوا بألغاء اجراءات المسح والتخطيط لاراض ابيي لتوطين دينكا نقوك فيها
بحجة ان نقوك ليس اصحاب حق في الارض وانهم هم ( تويج ) اصحاب الارض الحقيقيين.

يا اخي عنوانك عكس الموضوع تماما اي اوف سايت....
قبائل تويج ما قالوا كدي بل مطلبهم ترسيم حدود بين ارضهم وارض دينكا نقوك....امشي راجع لبة الموضوع لو عندك مصادر وانا كمان بجيب لك كل شئئ...
كل قبائل الجنوب لهم مناطق وكل قبيلة تريد معرفة حدودها مع قبيلة اخرى ودا يا هو الحاصل ...قبيلة تويج ما قالوا ان دينكا نقوك ما سكان أبيي او هم ما اصحاب الارض ، فقط قال دايرين ترسيم الحدود بينهم ودينكا نقوك...اقول لك كمان كمعلومة اضافية ....منطقة ابيي عندنا اهلنا تويج تسمى نقوك اي دار دينكا نقوك هم ما بيعرفوا حاجة اسمها المسيرية
لانهم يعرفون ان المسيرية او البقارة من اهل المجلد وغيرها من مناطق البقارة....شئ اخر ايضا النص اللي انت ناقله تتحدث عن العكس كما جاء في عنوانك...

Row between Ngok and Twich Dinka over claimed

The past two years have been so miserable and nasty for the Ngok Dinka people owing to disastrous invasion of Sudanese Army Forces (SAF). The invasion prompted massive displacement of about 150,000 people mainly to Twich territory, Kuajok and Western and Northern Bahr el –Ghazal states. Food shortage was so severe complicated by the floods which also spoiled the little food which our IDPs had carried along during the disaster.
Our IDPs in Twich territory complained of extreme ill-treatment from their brothers in Tur-alei town where dead bodies were shamefully denied land for burial leave alone access to drinking water from boreholes (hand pumps). Abyei IDPs were asked to pay money in return of fetching water from boreholes in Tur-alei. However, we tried not to expose to the public the ill-treatment that our peoples were facing in Twich territory because we believed exposing it may create more problems and hatred among two sisterly neighbouring clans or tribes. I don’t know whether that mistreatment was a highlight of what some of the Twich chiefs are presently campaigning for?
It is worth noting that it was not all Twich areas which mistreated Ngok IDPs. The community in Mayen-abun warmly welcomed the IDPs, slaughtered fatten bulls for them and above all the executive director ordered his staff to accommodate the IDPs in schools in Mayen-abun. This was a commendable and heroic action from the executive director of Mayen-abun and I wished other Twich areas had taken the same support and sympathy. Because the proverb says “A friend in need is a friend indeed” which means your real friend and brother is the one who stands by your side and supports you during hardship. I believe most of Twich people if not all are extremely good brothers to Ngok Dinka and they shall remain to be as such no matter how strained our relations would become. Twich and Ngok have ever been in peace for over centuries and I think nothing will spoil that peaceful heritage. Our focus should now be on the common enemy to South Sudan and not on negligible differences that can be solved overnight as friends and good neighbours who share one common enemy.
What provokes surprise now is that the Twich chiefs with support from some intellectuals have been claiming some Ngok Dinka areas including Agok the second town to Abyei which is now harbouring about 60,000 peoples. Twich chiefs in January, 2013 presented a petition to President in which they said Twich boundary with Ngok ends with Kiir River. Imagine what a BIG lie! I’m sure not all Twich people who support these hypocritical claims for Ngok Dinka land. Now some intellectuals and chiefs from Twich are even calling for cancellation of surveying and planning exercise of Agok town claiming that the town is theirs and Ngok Dinka should not survey it. If these rumours and propagandas persist without addressing them war of prejudice will commence between Ngok and Twich and later on the two tribes/clans may get into real inter-tribal conflict. Conflict always starts with prejudices and rumours before it turns into actual confrontation.
I thought our brothers from Twich should now support Ngok to fight Missirriyah and NCP to ensure that Abyei is fully part of South Sudan rather than turning to fight Ngok over claimed tribal borders which shall amicably be resolved when Abyei issue has been settled. Where will Ngok Dinka put their backs on now since the Missirriyah and Khartoum government are attacking Ngok in front while our Twich brothers are preparing also to attack from behind? We don’t want another tribal conflict to erupt in South Sudan. And, I think our leaders from both Ngok and Twich should give their attention to this row in order to address the root causes of the looming conflict before it gets out of hands. I suggest that our Ngok politicians meet with Twich ones in Juba, Wau and Kuacjok; and form a joint committee to instantly visit Tur-alei and Agok towns to meet with all the stakeholders in order to urgently address the fermenting problems.
I also suggest that our CBOs (Youth and Women Unions and chiefs) put an initiative of meeting with their counterparts from Twich sooner rather than later.
Also Abyei community organization (ACO) in Juba should engage with Twich intellectuals and other relevant bodies to cool down the situation before it gets worse. We should note that any fire starts with a flame. Now the flame of the fire has started and it is up to us to extinguish it before National Congress Party (NCP) and Khartoum government exploit the situation and add more fuels to the flame.
