Resolving crises from the perspective of presidential assitant. by Abdulaziz Ali Omer

Parliamentarians are the representatives of the people and they have the right of enacting legislation and keeping censurship.Thier sense of responsibility is elevated from being delegates of thier own political parties to being the voice of those who elected them from the massses of the broad society sectors. Acouple of days ago assembled under the dome of the parliament many of Sudanese senior figures to delibrate on the intricate issues of Sudan, a country busy with dialogue arrangement.Jalal E Degair the acoylte of Sudanese president spoke in sophisticated Arabic but I could make out the key messages in his long speech with philosophical hints.
Jalal Yousef El Digair ,the Sudanese presidential assistent in his speech to the National Congress last week presented some of the causes of Sudan's crises: First, the lack of common trust among the ruling elites and social components and the consequent development of tribalism -bitter contesting and political exclusion. The lack of strategic vision to crucial issues that take into account the implications of any act with a deep scrutiny and that is due to the narrowness of political horizon.Reduced patriotic loyalty compared to partisan sympathies which should be a tool but not an end in it self. The separation of Sudanese political elites from thier social patrimony ,traditions and conventions. Second,Dr.Jalal El Digair in resolving the Sudanese crises proposed a positive self-criticism for a positive political loyalty and constructive political interaction. He advocated for diversity and homogenity that will discourage monopoly, hatred and hetrogenity. In his speech,he commended the Sudanese parliament as the stronghold of legitimacy where partisanships melt.
He called on Sudanese members of parliament to re-read the social history of Sudan to derive solutions to crises and demonstrate the genius of Sudanese people and their social heritage. He finally suggested the formation of parliament-related Center for the Sudanese Humanitarian studies and parliamentary conventions with subsidiary periodical forum.
