Apparently the so called South Sudan’s ambassador to Khartoum Mayen Dut Waal appears to disparagingly possess shortage of what it takes to be an adroit representative of a country by all conceivable benchmarks. This fourth rate diplomat who also represents the government of South Sudan at the current peace talks venued in Khartoum, Sudan and destined to end the civil war in South Sudan, had more recently made withering and denigrating remarks about the Chairman of the SPLM-IO, Dr Riek Machar. In his blatant assertion, Mayen Dut Waal averred that the Chairman of the SPLM-IO would be arrested again and confined in South Africa if his group continued obstructing the peace process. Undisputedly, the underprivileged ambassador who plainly lacks customary political wherewithal is critically alien to diplomatic mores and culture. This elucidates the critical underperformances and deficiencies of South Sudan at the diplomatic façade. The relevant authorities in Juba would stand to gain by recalling the less shrewd ambassador and send him for a lengthy training program on elementary skills of conventional diplomacy.
