Khartoum Regime: Waging war through tribalism and racism in Darfur
No to Khartoum's Regime Tribal Wars in Darfur
Since its coup on democracy in 1989, the regime of the National Islamic Front (NIF) and its President, Omer Al Bashir, declared their wars against the unity of the Sudanese people. They declare religious war in the name of Jihad against the people in south Sudan on the premise of being Christians or non-believers. The result was the death of two million and spilt of the country.
Since 2003, the regime, allied with the Janjaweed militia, also known as Rapid Support Forces (RSF), continues to inflict systematic violence on innocent civilians in Darfur, including murder, rape, torture, and burning villages.
For that reason, Omar Al-Bashir, became the first sitting head of state to be indicted by the ICC in 2009. In 2011, his regime spread its ethnic cleansing wars to South Kordofan and the Blue Nile states. In order for Bashir’s regime to continue its evil actions, they executed a plan by the Tribal Security Department within the National Intelligence and Security Services (NISS) aiming to militarize and manipulate the traditional tribal difference.
The regime's fingerprints are all over last Monday's, May 11, 2015, unfortunate events. The deadliest tribal attack by the Rezeigat on Ma'alia killed hundreds from both sides.
The regime’s tribal wars in Darfur must be condemned, and its true purpose must be exposed to the world. No one should be fooled by the regime’s propaganda that these wars are a mere tribal conflict – they are not.

For more than 25 years, the regime have been working to destroy the Sudanese national and social fabrics, first using religion as the divider to separate South Sudan. Also in Darfur, the Nuba Mountains and the Blue Nile states the regime is using the race card to incite violence. The continuation of these atrocities will entail serious consequences for the country.

Based on our belief of the equal rights of the Sudanese people and moral commitment, we, the Independent Movement, strongly stand against the NIF racist regime in Khartoum. We hold those who share the power with the regime, its parties or individuals responsible. We call upon all Sudanese citizen to join with us in boycotting the NIF regime's at all levels; socially, politically and economically. We must send the dictatorship a strong message that racism is not acceptable and cannot be tolerated.
Also, we call upon all Sudanese abroad to form a civil rights movement that promote the unity and expose the regime racist policies and practices.
It is the time for all Sudanese stakeholders to assume their responsibilities and to declare their commitment to resist and ultimately, remove this racist regime. The demise of the NIF’s regime is the only way to maintain peace and stability in Sudan.
We strongly appeal to the International community to provide humanitarian aid to the needy people in Darfur , Nuba Mountains and Blue Nile have been subjected to collective suffering because the regime is using food as a weapon. As the Late Dr. John Garang de Mabior once eloquently put it Bashir and his NIF regime "too deformed to be reformed".

Respect the rights of the Sudanese people for life, peace and democracy.
