Avatars are taking over the real world. From Love affairs to funerals people are putting their personal lives out in public. ABC had a program a few years ago where they caught perverts by posing as teen girls who would want to meet them. Of course they ended up hand-cuffed and in the back of a police car. Recently serial killers found their kill on social media. Love affairs are the most common event now. The latest hoax was the American football player who fell in love with someone in a social media place. it turned out that that someone does not exist or at best it was a man playing the player, nice! He loved and was sooooo into it that he mourned the death of whom he called his “girlfriend” when she died on the same night his grandmother died, the poor thing died of Leukemia. I am curious to know how he found out about her death. Others were gender benders, i.e. men posing as women as in the above case, and women posing as men. They trap each other in fake love affairs only to be found later as Hoaxers. Are people that lonely? To the extent of falling in love with an Avatar? What is next?

Hi Asma I don't now what's next for them, but I now what's next for me, less and less exposure !!! I'll explain, 6 months ago I felt very vulnerable , with my hole life on the net , my info, my family, my kids photos, my friends, my important dates, and that is too much for me, also to maintain a good relation with all those on my friend list , is a very hard task for me( regarding my poor social skills), so I decided to deactivate my FB account, and guess what??
Life is much easier now :)
Some people will do any thing to feel connected in this materialistic world, and others will do any thing to live quietly like cave men :)

Hey Musab. I am thinking of the same thing, that is closing my cyber world. A few months ago friends on FB did not like the rose in my profile so like every, let us say normal person, i put my picture now wherever I go i see my picture and my face book page. Even on Sudaneseonline, there I am at the end of the post even if I am not logged in! isn't technology great?!!!! The latest is how people can activate the camera on your lab top or desk top and spy on you and of course making videos and taking pictures of everyday boring life. The advice is to close the lid when not on your laptop or simply put a black tape on your camera eye. OH, how do they do it? by sending you a nice card on which you click and wallah! there you are on that spy's or may be voyeur's computer. The whole world is on camera, You and I and probably many others are going to be pushed back into the stone age. Or may be just act idiotic and say, "I got nothing to hide" until someone is showing your bad eating habits or even more entertaining your bedroom. Cheers
