SudaneseOnline-Sudan’s First Vice-President, Ali Osman Taha, stressed the government’s intension to go ahead in achieving the dams’ projects considering it as giving strong motives to make the required economical, social and developmental change in the country. during his visit to inspect the progress of Upper Atbara and Setit Dams, Taha enumerated the advantages of the projects in adding 320 megawatts to the national grid besides the irrigation of millions of feddans and providing additional economical services to the national economy, lauding the bilateral relation between Sudan and Ethiopia, affirming that the project will represent an approach to regional cooperation in different fields. He pointed out to the efforts exerted by the government to avail better investment environment to attract the investors in response to the outcome of the recent Arab Economical Summit held in Riyadh in which President Al Bashir presented an initiative to make Sudan as a start point to achieve the Arab food security. Taha called the food security concerned partners to visit Sudan as the conditions are made better and the investment encouragement act will help in building strong relations with partners and individuals.

Those shameless murderers never give up, do they?
Once again they're talking about economic development through building dams. recycling the same lies that they have bombarded the media with, when they borrowed billions of dollars to build Marowe dam.
The dam that was not only supposed satisfy the nation's need of power but bring in hard currency by exporting the surplus to neighbouring countries.
What happened to all the promises, propaganda, field trips and the national pride that they have rained us with before, during and after building the Marowe dam.
