  | A POEM | | When tired and in a mood to scribble, try your hand at poetry. In verse, the human brain functions in snapshots and scampers away like a scared rodent...here is a doodler's attempt... a poem

 The 'Saharan' Oasis

 Furious ancestors cladded in blue,
 Swinging in the canopy;
 Honking with oozing lust
 Like birds of paradise.
 Hovering the mangrove of life,
 or fluttering butterflies...
 Chaotic but rhythmic,

 What a 'Saharan' beauty of
 a haunted oasis! Lush green
with spirits of a rain forest!
Here come the spirits of the Old,
 The young and crippled, muttering,
 cursing then soliciting a drink.

With glee, in a Choir Divine,
 For Peace we sing:
 Human, birds, fleecy clouds,
 Some mighty trees that mock
 The morning breeze: The forest,
 the canopy...the pristine green...
 singing ourselves into
 another camp-fire dream
