Three Egyptian ministers visit Khartoum soon
|
Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Egyptian Ambassador to Khartoum, Osama Shaltout, has announced that three Egyptian Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Agriculture and Irrigation, will visit Sudan soon to participate in various events which he did not elaborate, stressing that his country is seeking to increase trade between the two countries. In a press statements after his meeting with Sudan’s Presidential assistant, Dr. Jalal Yousif Al-Dikeir, on Sunday, the Egyptian diplomat disclosed that the three ministers would visit Khartoum in the coming period to participate in several events, underscoring his strong desire to develop relations between Khartoum and Cairo and increase trade between the two countries and implementation of a number of important strategic joint projects Shaltout added that he extend invitation to Sudan’s Presidential assistant to visit Egypt in the coming days to push forward bilateral relations and discuss many issues of the common concern. Sudan News Agency (SUNA) reported that the tow parties discussed bilateral cooperation and ways to support and strengthen them at all levels to complement the President Omar al-Bashir's visit to Egypt which preceded by Egypt’s president Abdul Fattah al-Sisi to Khartoum. He said that Khartoum and Cairo are facing huge challenges and should they work together to address those challenges.
