|
Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, has announced that there is no difference between Sudan and Egypt, stressing his keenness to develop ties with Khartoum, adding that the leadership of the two countries has so much to achieve for the two brotherly peoples. In an interview with Khartoum-based Al-Rai Al-A’am newspaper published on Friday, al-Sisi confirmed the importance of media discourse between the two countries, calling on the media on both side to strengthen interests and the common destiny of the two countries, sending a message to Sudanese people emphasizing robustness and the importance of relations between the two countries. Egyptian president received on Thursday Sudanese media delegation visiting Cairo these days headed by The Sudanese state minister for information, Yasser Yusuf, at the presence of Sudanese Ambassador to Cairo, Abdel Mahmood Abdalhaleem. The meeting discussed the relationship between Sudan and Egypt in the light of the outcome of the Summit held by the two Presidents and hosted by Cairo last month. Yusuf stressed that their philosophy of Sudan-Egypt relationship is based on good neighborliness and non-interference in internal affairs and respect for the Egyptian people’s choices, pointing out that the issue of the disputed Halaib region is to be resolved by Egyptian president Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Sudanese President Omer Hassan al-Bashir. He said that his government has pledged that it will not host any leader of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood.
