Sudanese opposition ready to meet parties to conflict in S. Sudan in Addis Ababa

Khartoum-The national consensus forces have announced sending a high level delegation to the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa to meet with the parties to the conflict in South Sudan and to urge them to engage in serious and honest talks to end the suffering of South Sudan people. They stressed the importance of the cease fire. Chairman of the leadership office of the National Consensus Forces Faroug Abu-Issa said in a statement to the Citizen that the ongoing violent conflict between the comrades in South Sudan does not serve our people in South Sudan nor the relationship between the two people of the two countries, adding that there is serious damage of this conflict. The interests of the citizens and their issues, freedom and respect of human rights and freedom of expression are what is required, he emphasized. . Abu-Issa said that they reacted since the eruption of the conflict to solve the differences wisely and peacefully without any bias to any party, urging immediate cease fire. He added that we have contacted the two parties via South Sudan embassy in Khartoum and the families of the arrested people. He said the South Sudan ambassador in Khartoum has expressed genuine desire to solve the differences peacefully, saying that they made a memo for both sides. He said they are ready to leave for Addis Ababa to convey the desire of the Sudanese people in peace and stability, and rejection to violent and destructive fighting.
