Somali media said on Monday that Sudanese authorities have refused to grant entry visa to Somali citizens and showed a document issued by the Sudan’s government legalize the decision. Sudan’s authorities accused the Somali citizens of not comply with the principles of stay in the country which led to prosecution a number of them and they ordered to leave the country. According to the document Sudanese authorities arrested several Somali citizens on their way to Libya on illegal journey to reach Europe, pointing out that a number of Somalis consider Sudan as transit to Europe. Sudan has called for more support for its efforts to combat human trafficking in the Horn of Africa region, expressing its commitment to participate in regional and international efforts to fight the trans-national crime.
