Sudan and Djibouti sign 13 documents on joint cooperation
|
Khartoum-Sudan and Djibouti has signed three documents including two cooperation agreements in areas of judiciary and women affairs promotion, six memorandums of understandings in fields of labor, free markets and zones, religious affairs, endowments, tourism and sea transport, five executive programs in areas of agriculture, cultural cooperation, judiciary, informatics and cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries. This came during the conclusion meeting of the 4th session of the Sudanese-Djibouti ministerial committee that took place in Djibouti. The Sudanese ambassador to Djibouti Hussein Al-Amin Al-Fadil told Sudan News Agency that the foreign minister Ali Karti has met during the visit with the Djibouti Prime Minister Abdel-Gadir Kamil where he briefed him on the developments of the situations in the country. The Sudanese side was chaired by the foreign minister while the Djibouti side was chaired by the foreign affairs and international cooperation ministers Mahmoud Ali. They discussed the means necessary to strengthen the bonds of fraternity between the two countries. Karti has further met with the speaker of the Djibouti parliament Idris Ali and discussed with him the issues pertinent to promote cooperation between the Sudanese and Djibouti Parliaments.
