Sudan And Egypt Sign Cooperation Agreement On Stock Exchange

Khartoum-Khartoum stock exchange has signed a cooperation agreement with Egyptian stock exchange and deposit company allowing the Sudanese side to benefit from the Egyptian experiences in areas of settlements and safekeeping securities. Chairman of the board of directors of Egypt Stock Exchange company Mohamed Abdel-salam said in statements on Wednesday that the agreement comes in the framework of the keenness of the officials in the two countries t consolidate and increase aspects of joint cooperation, especially with regard to the exchange markets. Director General of Khartoum Stock Exchange Market Azhari Al-Tayeb has said that Egypt has huge capabilities in this field, stating that it is among the oldest bourse in the world. He said that Khartoum endeavors to benefit from these experiences through either training or seeking support from Egyptian cadres.
