Sudan’s president announces his readiness to resume talks on the Two Areas based on (CPA)

December 26, 2014-Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Sudan’s president, Omar al-Bashir, has announced his government’s willingness to continue negotiating about Blue Nile and Southern Kordofan states based Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) along with continuing of military operations, stressing that Darfur dialogue must be through Doha Peace Agreement. Al-Bashir stressed the failure of Sudan people Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) to stabilize Sudan Armed Forces (SAF), confirming that the “Decisive Summer” operations continue as planed, pointing out that Khartoum’s government is ready to talks about Blue Nile and Southern Kordofan states based on the CPA with full transparency on the table through the security arrangements Sudan’s president announced Khartoum adherence to Doha Document for Peace in Darfur (DDPD), , describing it as deep and comprehensive deal, welcoming all Darfurian groups who will negotiate on that basis. “No another way for dialogue on Darfur except through the DDPD “he added Darfur rebel movements, which refuse to negotiate under the basis of the Doha framework document, proposed last April - jointly with rebel SPLM-N - a roadmap calling to unify the two peace tracks end the armed conflicts in southern and western Sudan, and to hold a national constitutional conference after direct talks on their respective regions.
