Sudan’s activists accuses of Communications Ministry of preventing the flow of information

Participants at a hearing on the Information Law held in the country’s Parliament on Sunday, criticized prevention of information from the publishing by law, noting that the government immunes information, confidential documents, the secrets, the national defence and State security and foreign policy, along with the pending information about personal data and information concerned with the police investigation or the judicial commissions, in addition to the information that contain political secrets
The Secretary-General of Sudan’s Council of the Press and Publications, Dr. Al-Obeid Murawah, said that the law is incomplete and faulty.
