Sudan’s Parliament announce a road map for normalization of relations with U.S

Khartoum- SudaneseOnline-The Foreign Affairs Committee of Sudan’s National Assembly revealed that it had prepared a roadmap to normalize relations with the United States. The deputy chairman of the committee, Mohammed Mustafa Al-Daw, revealed in press statements on Friday that there is coordination between the Parliament and the Foreign Ministry to unify efforts to open a dialogue with the US Administration leads to solutions to the outstanding issues between the two countries, which represented in US economic sanctions on Sudan and put it on the list of State sponsors of terrorism and the Darfur file. Sudan is also on the US list of states that sponsor terrorism since 1993 even though the two countries have strengthened their counterterrorism cooperation since September 2001 attacks on Washington and New York.
