Doha. 16 June (SUNA)- The official talks between the Sudan and Qatar started here evening Thursday with the Sudanese side led by President Omar Bashir and the Qatar Side led by HH the Emir of Qatar sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, while the ministers from the two sides held spate meetings.
The Minister for foreign Affairs, Professor Ibrahim Ghandour has pointed out in statement to the Sudan News Agency that that talks between the two heads of state dealt with bilateral relations and regional issues and Arab region in particular.
He said the views of the two sides were identical with the two sides underlining the need to push further the Sudanese Qatari relations and that directives were given for the minister of foreign affairs from the two countries to start convening the meeting of the political consultation committee and also the meeting of the joint ministerial committee.
He told SUNA that the ministers on the two sides held bilateral meeting focusing on the overall bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of promoting them further.
