South Sudan and Belarus sign a Protocol on diplomatic relations
|
Cairo-South Sudan and the Republic of Belarus signed on Tuesday) a Protocol to establish diplomatic relations and the exchange of diplomatic representation between them. The signing ceremony took place at the Embassy of Belarus in Cairo, where South Sudan's Ambassador in Cairo, signed on behalf of South Sudan and Belarus’s ambassador in Cairo signed on behalf of the other side. The two sides stressed on strengthening bilateral relations in all political, economic and cultural fields, confirming that they are adhere to the principles and purposes of the Charter of the United Nations and international law in accordance with the provisions and terms of the Treaty of Vienna signed on 18 April 1961 on diplomatic relations and the Vienna Treaty signed on 28 April 1963 on consular relations.
