South Sudan Foreign Minister holds talks in Egypt ahead of Presidential summit
|
Khartoum-The Foreign Minister of South Sudan Barnaba Benjamin has affirmed that his talks in Cairo lay the foundations of new strategic relations with Egypt to be culminated in important talks during the upcoming summit between the South Sudanese President Salva Kiir and Egyptian counterpart Abdel-Fatah Al-Sisi. He further referred to an agreement targeting the joint work and cooperation in all fields at international, Arab and African arenas.
In the meantime, the foreign minister has welcomed the meeting between President Salva Kiir and the Sudanese President Omer Al-Bashir.that the agreement He revealed that South Sudan will support Sudan with one billion dollars annually. He furthermore said that the foreign ministers of the two states have agreed to make joint tour to some Arab and western capitals to have the 40 billion dollars written off.
