Salah Karar: A group in NCP obstructs dialogue due to conflict of interests
|
Khartoum-The chairman of the Reform Now Movement Shura Council and member of the National Salvation Revolution Leadership Council Salah-Eddin Karar has said that a group within the ruling National Congress Party is working on obstructing the national dialogue due to fears that it would contradict its personal interests.
Speaking to the Citizen, Karar urged the President of the Republic Omer Al-Bashir to limit the groups that obstruct dialogue although they have been moved out from decision making posts. He added” we know they are still have big influence and striking force”.
On his part, Karar called on the President to separate dialogue from the routine political issues and to handle the Sudanese crisis wisely to rescue the country from falling into the abyss.
He criticized the statement of Al-Sadeq Al-Mahdi on the Rapid Support Forces, saying that” These forces belong to security and service, and we know how it offered martyrs during the entry of Khalil Ibrahim forces to Khartoum in 2008. However, he described the statements of Al-Mahdi and Ibrahim Al-Amin as the speaking of the desperate”.
He called for creating favorable climate toward the national accord, renouncing differences and building confidence to overcome the current dilemma in Sudan.
