S. Sudan political parties accuse Ethiopia of imposing agendas in talks

Khartoum-The South Sudan political powers, which are participating in the Addis Ababa talks, have expressed concern over what is happening in the current peace talks between the government and rebels.
The spokesman of the political parties Joseph Malek has told Al-Maseer newspaper on Saturday that they are worried about the intervention of the Ethiopian prime minister who interferes by trying to involve the 7 group in the talks. He stated that the negotiators have reached an agreement before the insistence of the IGAD to involve a third party, saying that this violates the international laws of talks.
He said that the 7 group was not part of the cease fire agreement between Juba and the rebels, renewing rejection to participation of this group in the talks.
“The intervention of a third party will drop the role of the political parties in the negotiation”. He added
The spokesman of the political parties in South Sudan has expressed desire to reach peace and stop fighting, saying that “we do not mind a role by the 7 group in the national reconciliation process”.
He added that they are determined to cooperate with the SPLM, the ruling party, toward finding a peaceful solution to the conflict in the country.
