Refugees protest at IOM premises in Cairo Cairo-With the deterioration of the security and livelihood situations in Egypt, where victims of war and discrimination took refuge, the way the International Organization of Migration is treating some refugees has become unclear a matter that has pushed the refugees to organize several protests at the IOM in Cairo. According to the Sudan Studies Contemporary Center, They protest the frequent and indefinite delay of their travels without an alternative solution to their accommodation issue after they ended their tenancy with the landlords on the basis that they are travelling. The refugees raised slogans in English such as: “save us before we die in Egypt” “live together or die together”, which is a slogan of the International Organization of Migration. The refugees borrowed this slogan to indicate that the organization is washing its hands off its slogans.
