Popular Congress; Government is responsible for insecurity in Darfur

Khartoum-The Popular Congress Party has held the National Congress government the responsible for the security breaches in Darfur region, and said that its acceptance to dialogue with the ruling party will not be at the cost of Darfur issue.
Speaking to a media forum in Khartoum, the Political Secretary of the Popular Congress Party, Kamal Omer, expressed support to the issues of the region, and demanded bringing to justice those who have committed war crimes in Darfur.
Omer has stressed the importance of involving the revolutionary front forces in an all-inclusive dialogue, adding that there is no point of holding elections and making permanent constitution while there are still wars in South Kordofan, Darfur and the Blue Nile.
On his part, the leader in the Popular Congress Party, Ali Shamar, has criticized establishment of the rapid reaction forces by the government, saying that these forces are of ethnic nature. He further said that sending these forces into Darfur has caused inter-tribal conflict in the region, accusing the government of inability to protect civilians in north and south Darfur.
