Khartoum, July 31 (SUNA)- The Minister of Defence, Lt. Gen. Awad Mohamed Ahmed Ibn-Oaf, has suggested introduction of the African Dignity Order to honor the African presidents who visit and support Sudan. This came in his Address at a salute festival held by the Ministry of Defence Sunday for the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces on the occasion of his honoring by the African Dignity and Pride Forum in Addis Ababa. He stressed that the Armed Forces will remain raising the banner of dignity and will continue its backing to the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces for realizing stability and development in Sudan and the African continent. Lt. Gen. Ibn-Oaf has called on the gun-holders to respond to the call for peace, affirmed that the Armed Forces will not give them the chance to undermine Sudan dignity and pride. Addressing the festival, the Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Imad-Eddin Mustafa Adawi, affirmed the Armed Forces' pledge to remain a real supporter to the leadership and protector to the people's pride and dignity.
