Member to Parliament criticizes Justice Minister over cotton case
|
Khartoum-The deputy of Parliament Ahmed Abelrahman has said that the handover of the” investigator’s diary” on the cotton case while it is still at court to the speaker of the national assembly is not legal.
He said that the statement on the cotton case before the parliament by the minister of justice is as serious and precedent and unprecedented in the history of parliaments.
On his part, deputy Hasabo Amir said that what the parliament has the right to know the progress of the case that overwhelmed the public opinion. He said the parliament did not mean to influence the course of the case, referring to the honesty of the Sudanese judiciary.
