Khartoum state governor rejects intervention of workers unions in medical policies

Khartoum-The Governor of Khartoum state Abdelrahamn Al-Khidir has rejected the intervention of the trade unions to stop plans by the health ministry to transfer the medical services in the central Khartoum to the peripheries. “The field of medicine and treatment does not afford reluctance and political disputes”, he added. The trade union of Khartoum Teaching hospital rejects a plan to relocate the hospital departments to the peripheries in the framework of efforts by the state authorities to transfer the old hospital into a reference hospital.
During the inauguration of new facilities at Ibrahim Malik Hospital in Khartoum, the governor said that the intervention by any non -specialized body will obstruct provision of medical services.
