Governor says Kordofan will not return as it was
|
Khartoum-The governor of North Darfur state Ahmed Haroun has admitted challenges before the state’s mobilization project including the lack of the government funding to the agricultural sector, the rise in the agricultural input and productions, lack of electricity in some rural areas.

In his address on the state’s mobilization at the Parliament on Wednesday, Haroun said that the international development report has expected reduction of the productivity of the agricultural crops in Sudan by 56% in 2080.
The governor complained fluctuation of prices in the markets due to the rise in the transport cost due to lack of roads in rural areas, imposition of high official and non-official fees besides the unclear marketing systems.
