Establishment of Sudanese -Saudi- Indonesian investments in agricultural production field and industrialization in Sudan
Jakarta, March 7 (SUNA) - President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir met, at his residence in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta Monday, with the delegation of Salim Company for Investment in Agricultural and Agro-Processing Field in Sudan.
The Representative of the Delegation Mohamed Al-Asma said, in statements to the press after the meeting, that the group affirmed to President Al-Bashir its desire to invest in agriculture and agricultural industrialization in Sudan, pointing out to the importance of determining the area targeted by the group, which represents Indonesian- Saudis investments, where an area of 500,000 acres were identified through two phases, the first 300,000 acres and the second 200,000 acres.
He said the group has sent agricultural experts to prepare feasibility and soil studies in two states in Sudan and according to the study the targeted areas would be determined.
