Deputy Speaker of Parliament criticizes lack of coordination between economic ministries

Khartoum-Member of the Parliament Kawthar Al-Naem has said that inconsistency and confusion has contributed in destroy the private sector. She stated increasing the fees and taxes reduce competitiveness pushes factories away from manufacturing.

On her part, the deputy speaker of the Parliament Samia Ahmed Mohamd has criticized the lack of coordination between the economic ministries as it appeared in the three-year program. She said” I needed a piece of information from some ministry. When I visited its website, I found out that the latest piece of information was updated a year ago”. She further criticized weakness of data in the investment map, saying” investment cannot be built upon weak data”.
