Corrupt refrigerators gas enters the country

Khartoum-The minister of the council of ministers Ahmed Sa’ad Omer has revealed entry of refrigerators’ gas, which is not allowed for use, to the country. Member of the Parliament Joseph Makeen said that the entry and use of the gas, which does not conform to the specifications, has failed the factories. He said that the only 10% of the commodities that enter Sudan is meeting the specifications with 70% of the information in the state’s organs and institutions are not true. He further criticized renting buildings by the state while it already owned abandoned buildings. He further said that the committee for enlisting the government properties has not come out with results for 25 years. The minister criticized the non-amendment of the labor act by the council of ministers despite the calls for amending it. Ahmed Sa’ad Omer has revealed coordination between the standards and metrology authority, security organs, borders guards and customs to prevent entry of smuggled commodities. He further said that the standards and metrology organizations has owned the ISO certificate despite the speaking about entry of commodities not conforming to specifications to the country. He revealed a plan to enlist and register the government properties in Sudan abroad. He also disclosed discussions to promote the quota system for admitting the sons of the expatriates in the Sudanese universities to encourage them to transfer their money to the country.
