Assistant to Sudanese President calls on Arab countries to invest in his country
Khartoum-The Assistant of the President of the Republic Prof. Ibrahim Ghandour has called on the Arab countries to invest in Sudan to realize the joint interests, affirming the state’s keenness and concern to improve investment environment and to address the whole issues that face it. Addressing the opening session of the Fourth Investment Forum held in the Red Sea state Thursday, Prof. Ghandour said that Sudan is considered as a source of food security in the world in the future, underlining the government readiness to support development progress n all Sudanese states, especially the promising Red Sea state. The Wali (governor) of the Red Sea State Mohamed Tahir Ailah, meanwhile, reviewed the resources and investment opportunities in his state in the field of minerals, tourism, sea transport services and the export and import. The Saudi Ambassador and representative of the diplomatic missions participated in the forum, Faisal bin Hamid Al-Ma'ala, for his part, affirmed keenness of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to encourage investment in Sudan within the framework of the Arab, regional and international efforts in this field.
