Arrangements to deport (27) Sudanese detained in Jordan

Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Sudanese Working Abroad Authority (SWAA) has disclosed that there are (27) Sudanese detained in prisons in Jordan, mostly because of immigration offenses, stressing that arrangements are being made to deport them to Sudan. SWAA’s the head of department of return and employment issues, Huweida Awad, said after a several-day visit to Jordan that they had made arrangements with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to return back those in Jordan’s to the homeland in the next few days. Awad told Sudan News Agency (SUNA) on Tuesday that she met during her visit a number of officials in the Sudanese Consulate in Jordan and a number of Jordan’s officials and organizations in order to coordinate the release of the Sudanese detainees there.
