Al-bashir and Deby to address conference on Darfur peace in N’Djamena

Khartoum-The Sudanese President Omer Al-Bashir and the Chadian counterpart Idris Deby are due to address the final session of Om-Jaras 2nd conference in N’Djamena in march 26-29. According to the organizers, the conference is considered a unique in terms of the momentum sicne the eruption of Darfur crisis in 2003. The commissioner of the high mechanism of Om-Jaras forum, Hassan Bargo has told the Ashoroog that the arrangements has been made to make the forum successful in order to come out with recommendations that ensure realization of a real peace in the region. He said that" this is the first time to have this huge gathering of officials, leaders and notables since 2003", adding that those who are loyal to the government or loyal to the movements are meeting up in one place. The inaugural session will be addressed by the vice president Hasabo Mohamed Abdelrahman and the Chadian President Idris Deby. The first vice president Bakri Hassan Saleh called, in a meeting with leaders of tribes, notables and Darfur people, to benefit from Om-Jaras conference in unifying their word and winning all initiatives to realize development, unity, peace and stability and to map out a roadmap to find a finals solution to the crisis. He lauded the efforts being exerted by the Chadian president in this regard.
