President of the Republic Issues Republican Decrees on Formation of Presidential Councils to Follow

Khartoum, Jan. 24 (SUNA)- President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, Wednesday issued republican decrees on formation of five councils, headed by the President of the Republic and participation of the First Vice - President and the Vice - President, Assistants of the President of the Republic and a number of experts and specialists in implementation of the focusing program, that the axes of which have included I his address before the National Legislature on October 20, 2017.
The President of the Republic has announced in his address before the National Legislature the establishment of mechanisms to follow up the overall performance of the state's organs in executing the program's pillars in the context of implementation of the recommendations of the National Dialogue Conference that have covered the fields of peace, unity, the economy, the foreign policy, the information as well as the Council of the Presidency Affairs.
SUNA learned that the program aims for realizing inclusive peace in accordance with the political, social, cultural, legal program and providing the favorable atmosphere for the voluntary repatriation of the displace citizens and completing the building of a model economy that depends on growth, implementation of major services' projects at the levels of every state and locality and urban gathering.
Formation of the five councils came through Republican Decrees under article (58) of Sudan Constitution for the year 2005 as follow:-
First: Council of the Presidency of the Republic.
Second: National Council of the Overall Economy.
Third: National Information Council.
Fourth: The National Council for Foreign Policy.
Fifth: The Council of Peace and Unity.
