Khartoum, Oct.21(SUNA)-The Foreign Ministry welcomed the statement issued by the US Department of State in which it called the Government of South Sudan to cease providing support to the Sudanese armed opposition movements and to prevent them from carrying out any military activities against Sudan from inside its territories.
The Official Spokesman of Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Qareb Alla Khidir added in a press statement issued on Friday that the Ministry called anew the Government of South Sudan to meet its pledges and commitments made recently with the Sudan with regard to preventing the Sudanese armed movements from carrying out any armed activity against Sudan and to expelled them from its territories according to the Security Arrangements Agreement signed between the two countries in the year 2012.
