Khartoum, Aug. 4 (SUNA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Sudan has transferred the Turkish schools, belonging to Fethullah Gulen Organization in Sudan, into private schools that are managed by a Sudanese company. In a statement to SUNA, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gariballa Khidir, said that the Turkish government has demanded closure of these schools, explaining that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has informed the Ministry of Education on the Turkish demand for closure of the two schools which include 800 students from different nationalities, most of them are Sudanese. He said that the Ministry of Education has transformed the two schools into private schools that are managed by a Sudanese company with the aim to avoid any harm on the students.
